As visitors to the Iowa Events Center prepared to attend the first-ever Tech Hub LIVE event to learn about the latest in precision agricultural technology, several of them boarded a bus for a quick pre-show field trip to see some Iowa agriculture in action for themselves.

On Monday, July 19, Tech Hub LIVE visitors spent the day at the Couser Cattle Co. at Modern Ag Farm in Nevada, IA – approximately a 30-minute drive east of downtown Des Moines. Once there, the guests were treated to a good, old-fashioned Iowa luncheon, featuring fruit salad, sweet corn-on-the-cob, cookies, and of course, steak.

Once lunch was finished, attendees settled in for a full day of information about the latest precision ag technology from such companies as Topcon, Praxidyn, and Pivot Bio. There was even a pair of drone flight demonstrations courtesy of Taranis and Rantizo. In addition, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig was on hand to talk about the importance of Iowa agriculture to the entire nation.
