Precision Ag Specialist Joins AgJunction
March 28, 2011 GVM has named Brad Peiffer regional precision ag salesman for its AgJunction team. He will play a vital role in ensuring that the AgJunction products provide customers with the functionalities they require.
Residing in Moline, IL, Peiffer will focus on Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Peiffer brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture business, 15 years specifically in precision agriculture and a strong business background. Upon completing his degree in ag business, Peiffer began his career working in grain orientation before moving into precision agriculture for Cargill. In 1996, he began working at AgChem as a precision ag specialist with GVM’s current managing director, Jeff Dearborn. In 2001, Peiffer left AgChem to start his own business, Net Mapping, but in 2010 sold his shares to a partner in the hopes of joining the AgJunction team.
In addition to working for AgJunction, Peiffer is also active in his medium-sized family farm in northwest Iowa, where they grow corn and soybeans and raise hogs. Peiffer uses precision ag for everything on the farm, including soil sampling and yield monitoring.
