IAP Appoints Steve Henning As VP Crop Protection
As IAP moves forward with an exciting office move from California to northern Colorado this summer, employee changes are occurring. IAP will continue stellar service for both owners and suppliers alike through this transition. As of May 31, 2025, Mark Cowart, IAP Crop Protection Manager will no longer be on staff. Mark’s dedication and time at IAP is greatly appreciated and he is wished all the best in his future endeavors.
Effective June 2 2025, Steve Henning will be joining the IAP organization. Steve will join IAP as VP Crop Protection and will work alongside Jim Fargo, IAP President with our Crop Protection suppliers. Steve will join the staff in the Colorado office.
Stephen A. Henning is an accomplished agricultural industry executive with more than 33 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, procurement, and business strategy. Throughout his career, Stephen has built a reputation for developing customer-centric growth strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable results across dynamic and competitive markets. He most recently served as West Region Sales Manager at Drexel Chemical Company. Prior to that, he held key leadership positions at Verdesian Life Sciences, Wilbur Ellis, Bayer Crop Science, and BASF, including global and regional roles spanning North America and Europe.
Originally from Georgia and a graduate of Shorter College, Stephen now lives in Centennial, Colorado, with his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, spending quality time with family, and supporting his children’s involvement in college sports, academics, and career paths. He is also actively engaged in his community, having served on high school athletic boards and volunteered for local food banks.
