Court Decision Protects Chesapeake Bay’s Water, Wildlife
July 7, 2015 Today, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the historic clean-up plan for the Chesapeake Bay.
Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation, comments on today’s ruling below. In his former position as Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, O’Mara led the development of Delaware’s plan to reduce pollution in the bay.

This decision is a victory for clean water, fishable rivers and safe places for children to swim.
