How IFCA Has Ensured MAGIE Success for Four Decades

Let us just start off by saying that 2020 was an interesting and trying year! Due to COVID-19, the annual Midwest AG Industries Exposition (MAGIE) show was cancelled, and we were unable to come together as members of the ag input industry. This year, 2021, marks the 40th anniversary of the MAGIE show, and we have so much to reflect upon. We are glad you are here and able to join other members of the ag input community.

Over the last 40 years, the MAGIE show has grown exponentially and has come a long way since the inaugural show at the airport in Danville, IL. MAGIE has been and will continue to be dedicated and focused on supporting the ag input industry. To date, there are over 75 exhibitors, which attracts thousands of attendees who continue to support the growth of this outstanding show that is held at the McLean County Fairgrounds.

A favorite at MAGIE is the “Ride and Drive” demonstrations. This allows attendees to test drive self-propelled applicators and spreaders. MAGIE is the only show in the country that affords this type of experience. Another major highlight of the show is the latest ag technology on display with either live demonstrations or hands on inter-actions with the newest equipment. Lastly, the biggest standout while at the show is the opportunity to interact with peers and colleagues, old friends, make new connections, and to enjoy the delicious food and refreshments graciously provided by various exhibitors!
