2021 MAGIE Equipment Preview: 36 Products You Can Expect to See at This Year’s Show

For two days in August the best and brightest ag retail equipment and services will be on display at the annual Midwest AG Industries Exposition (MAGIE), which turns 40 this year. The slideshow offers a preview of some of the items that will be featured at the McLean County Fairgrounds.

A favorite at MAGIE — which returns after its cancellation last year due to COVID-19 — is the “Ride and Drive” demonstrations. “This allows attendees to test drive self-propelled applicators and spreaders,” says Kevin “K.J.” Johnson, Interim President, Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association. “MAGIE is the only show in the country that affords this type of experience.”

Johnson succeeds the recently retired Jean Payne.

“Another major highlight of the show is the latest ag technology on display with either live demonstrations or hands on inter-actions with the newest equipment,” he added. “Lastly, the biggest standout while at the show is the opportunity to interact with peers and colleagues, old friends, make new connections, and to enjoy the delicious food and refreshments graciously provided by various exhibitors!”
