NTX5310, Case IH
The NTX5310 Strip Till System does multiple jobs, creating a uniform seedbed (which warms faster for earlier planting) and placing dry, liquid, and NH3 fertilizer in the moist soil of the root zone. Large 24-inch-diameter coulters cut heavy residue with ease and eliminate plugging and bunching. The shank-and-knife design gives a more uniform tillage depth and consistent fertilizer placement. Buyers can select from 6- or 8-row, 3-point hitch-mounted models, or 8-, 12- or 16-row, pull-type models.
8500 NITROMASTER, Ag Systems
This workhorse features heavy duty 6-inch x 6-inch x ½-inch wall tubing — that can carry the heavy loads of coulters, spring bundles, and disc sealers. Big, strong, and flexible, the 8500 adapts to most row spacings and has heavy duty walking tandem axles and a master/slave hydraulic lift system that provides uniform lift.
AT6010, Thurston Mfg. Co./Blu-Jet
The AT6010 provides great versatility for users with varying terrain, soil conditions, and residue situations. It can easily be configured for a number of operations including pre-plant, side-dress, and strip-till applications with anhydrous, liquid, dry, or dual placement fertilizer injection. The heavy duty 6-inch x 6-inch tubular frame is designed with a downward flex capacity of nearly 12 vertical feet on 60-foot swath widths, making for uniform depth placement over uneven terrain. The rig is designed for maximum flotation and reduced soil compaction, and transport width is a tidy 16½ feet.
NH3 TOOLBAR, Agri-Products
Twenty-four years in the industry, Agri-Products designs anhydrous applicators to meet specific customers’ needs including row spacing, in-line or staggered shank assemblies, and rigid or winged bars. Rigid toolbars are available in sizes from 16 to 25 feet; folding tool bars from 21 to 42 feet. They feature heavy-duty 7-inch x 7-inch x 3/8-inch wall tubing and high-strength 1-inch x 3-inch knife shanks — tough enough and heavy enough for all trash conditions. Buyers can choose their toolbar color.
XT NH3 APPLICATOR, Wako
WAKO offers the XT anhydrous toolbar in five lengths: 31, 34, 37, 41, and 51 feet. The low-maintenance applicators are built to handle the abuse of today’s high horsepower tractors. They feature a 4- x 6-inch A-frame tongue, 3- x 4-inch two-row toolbar, and heavy-duty hinges and bracing. Included is a top-quality NH3 system as well as 454 NH3 knives.
2510H, John Deere
This new offering from Deere allows anhydrous application speeds of up to 10 mph for maximum efficiency. Its low-disturbance disk design effectively places anhydrous at the root zone and requires less overall horsepower to operate. The sealing wheel’s unique design ensures the nutrient stays where it’s placed.
LB 2200, Duo-Lift Manufacturing
The LB-2200 Low Boy Series Wagons offer twice the capacity for high demand application times. They carry twin 1,000-, 1,450-, 2,000-, triple 1,000-gallon, and single large anhydrous ammonia tanks or 1,600- to 2,600-gallon liquid tanks (larger capacities available). Tanks ride at a height of 25 inches — providing easy access to anhydrous or liquid fertilizer tank valves.
DW SERIES, Dalton Ag Products, Inc.
The DW Series toolbar offers a front-to-back rank of 60 inches, the widest in the industry. Built to meet each buyer’s needs, the versatile rig can handle 15- to 36-inch row spacings. A down flex of 24 degrees on the wings allows the toolbar to travel even in the roughest terrain and keeps the fertilizer at a more even soil depth. Hydraulic wings fold over at 45 degrees for more road clearance.
MODEL 7200, Progressive Farm Products
Heavy duty but nimble, the Model 7200 is a front-folding toolbar available in three sizes: 30 foot (12-row), 40 foot (16-row), and 60 foot (24-row). The front fold allows for a narrower transport width versus standard vertical fold toolbars.
