Tech Hub LIVE presenter Chad Colby encourages attendees to “get out of their comfort zone” with technology — both practical and disruptive.
Few people know more about ag technology than Chad Colby, so he was a natural choice to keynote the Tech Hub LIVE event last week in Des Moines.
Colby, President of Colby AgTech, has more than 33,000 Twitter followers and provides regular tech segments for This Week in Agribusiness and he had lots of practical advice for the attendees. He says just something as simple as upgrading your iPhone to the latest version can increase your productivity tremendously. “If you have an iPhone 7 or 8 and you saw on the screen the difference between an 8 and a 12, you realize that you’re not far behind, you’re way far behind,” said Colby.
Colby’s address — “Top 10 Technology Innovations You Need to Know Right Now” — highlighted the most important/exciting/relevant technology innovations ag retailers and service providers should be adopting, or recommending to their farmer customers, to improve efficiency, profitability, service, and job performance.
