OABA Launches New Member Referral Program

As the voice for Ohio’s agribusinesses, the Ohio AgriBusiness Association works to ensure that agriculture stays Ohio’s No. 1 industry. OABA is a membership–based association, relying on support from Ohio’s agribusinesses for the continued success of
the association and the industry.

In February 2017, OABA launched its “All Up in Your Business” campaign, designed to raise awareness and exposure of the association, while also boosting membership. As part of the campaign, OABA is announcing a member referral program.
OABA membership includes the manufacturers and wholesale/retail suppliers of plant nutrient and protection materials, the grain warehousing and marketing industry, the feed and seed industry, as well as companies providing equipment, financing, insurance,
consulting, and other products and services for the agribusiness industry. Member company employees are encouraged to refer agribusinesses they work with on a daily basis to OABA.

Individuals who refer companies for membership in OABA will be entered into a drawing for two football tickets to the Ohio State Buckeyes versus Michigan State Spartans on November 11. Employees will only be eligible for the drawing if the referred company commits to membership and pays dues by August 31. New membership will be valid until December 31, 2018.

Member employees should encourage new companies to complete the “referred by” box on the membership application. Additionally, individuals can email Chris Henney at [email protected] to notify OABA of a referral. New companies must be claimed at or before time of application.

Further questions about the membership referral program or requests for OABA materials should be addressed to Nicole Wallace at [email protected].
