IFCA Elects Directors And Officers At Annual Meeting

The Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association (IFCA) announced their 2017 officers and new board members at the Association’s recent annual meeting and convention in Peoria, IL. Three new board members were elected: Bryan Fairfull of M & M Service Co. in Carlinville, IL; Nate Todd of West Central FS in LaHarpe, IL and Mike Harriss of Winfield United in Trenton, IL.

The IFCA also announced its Executive Committee for 2017 as follows:

  • Eric Gordon with Brandt in Lincoln, IL is the Chairman
  • Regan Wear with CHS in Shipman, IL is the Vice Chairman
  • Carl Kessler with Syngenta in Auburn, IL is the Finance Officer
  • Jeremy Maloney with Tri County Chemical in Eldorado, IL is the Secretary
  • Jason Wesslund with Heritage FS is a member of the Executive Committee, and
  • Ryan Heldt of Dow Agrosciences is the Past Chairman.

With more than 1,100 members statewide, the IFCA represents the crop production input supply and service industry including agricultural input retailers, chemical and fertilizer manufacturers, distributors and farm equipment suppliers. IFCA’s 15-member Board of Directors provides direction to the association to fulfill its mission of promoting the sound stewardship and utilization of agricultural inputs though their work with government agencies, the Illinois legislature, US Congress, other agricultural organizations and the public.
