GVM Having A Field Day

In early and mid-September, GVM Inc., Biglerville, PA, once again, hosted a series of open houses at its headquarters and satellite locations in Ohio and Indiana, more commonly known as “Field Days.” As in past years, these events drew large crowds of customers who came to ride and drive the company’s equipment, earn certification points for fertilizer and learn about the newest technologies.

“Field Days are always an exciting event for us, they give us a day to show our appreciation for our customers, to listen to what they have to say and to also let them know what they can expect from GVM in the future,” says GVM President and Owner Mark Anderson.

This year, GVM was excited to present its newest combo units, the E-Series Prowler. Built on the success of last year’s model, the E350 Prowler, in conjunction with customers’ suggestions, Anderson said that GVM launched this series “to provide customers with an even bigger machine, even more operator comfort, more brawn to get through the roughest fields and more intelligence to eliminate downtime.” This year’s models also feature the same, forward-mounted, Air Ride Cab with floor to ceiling glass, 32 inches of crop clearance, variable coil spring suspension and electronic monitoring system providing machine diagnostic and gauges on a screen and AgriWAVE by GVM AgJunction. The series will feature three different models, to fit each customer’s specific needs, varying only in the drive train and wheelbase.

In addition to introducing our newest products and technologies, Field Day also gave customers an opportunity to ride-and-drive some of the industry’s leading equipment, including GVM Prowler and Predators and AGCO’s Spra-Coupes, and visit with vendors including Banjo, Mid-State Tank, Norwesco, Pacer Pumps, Raven, Schaeffer Oil, TeeJet and ZF Industries.
