Phospholutions Inc. Appoints Research and Development Vice President Dr. Krishna Maruvada, to Propel Sustainable Fertilizer Technology

Phospholutions Inc., a leader in sustainable fertilizer technology, is further enhancing global phosphorus utilization through its Next GenerationTM RhizoSorb® fertilizer technology. This commitment to innovation is exemplified by the addition of Dr. Krishna Maruvada, to Phospholutions’ leadership team.

“We have been searching for the ideal candidate to join our leadership team and head our research division, and, with his extensive leadership experience and passion for innovation, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Maruvada,” said Stephan Levitsky, Chief Operations Officer, and Vice President of Sustainability at Phospholutions. Dr. Maruvada brings a wealth of experience in leading research and development efforts with Ascend Performance Materials, Agrium Advanced Technology (now Nutrien) and Sabic Innovative Plastics, specializing in material science, innovation, and product commercialization. His appointment underscores Phospholutions’ dedication to investing in advancing technological solutions that improve efficiency, profitability, and sustainability for agriculture.

With Dr. Maruvada’s addition, Phospholutions is expanding its corporate research capabilities to enhance the value proposition of RhizoSorb technology with sustainable inputs and increase manufacturing capacity. This strategic move aims to provide more cost-effective solutions for farmers navigating the challenges of narrow profit margins in row crop production.

Additionally, Michael Castiglione has been promoted to Vice President of Supply Chain to streamline logistics and material acquisition. “From day one, we recognized Mike’s exceptional qualities, including his attitude, understanding, and knowledge, which make him a natural leader at Phospholutions,” said Stephan Levitsky.
