McGregor Named ARA’s Top Retailer
December 8, 2008 You’ll likely recognize the name of the 2008 Retailer of the Year Award chosen by the Agricultural Retailers Association — the company is a perennial member of the CropLife® magazine’s CropLife 100 and four of their outlets have been named national winners of the Environmental Respect Award.
The McGregor Co. of Southeast Washington, managed by Alex McGregor, was named recipient of the 2008 ARA Retailer of the Year Award.
This award is sponsored by ARA and Monsanto, and is a recognized symbol of quality and prestige. ARA Chairman Dan Weber, vice president of agronomy for Ceres Solutions announced the winner during the annual ARA Conference & Exposition.
The McGregor Co. operates in 40 communities, and also includes two seed companies, a trucking business, an equipment manufacturing division, chemical distributing business, and an agronomic research farm.
