GROWMARK Appoints New VP Of Finance And Risk Management
October 22, 2014 Wade Mittelstadt has been named GROWMARK Vice President, Financial and Risk Mangement, effective December 1, 2014. He succeeds Mike Woods, GROWMARK Vice President and CFO.
Mittelstadt graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and has earned his CPA certification. Mittlestadt joined the GROWMARK System as controller/CFO for AgVantage FS in 1994. He was named the GROWMARK Western Region business manager in 2007, and the next year moved into the Treasury Division as corporate cash/foreign exchange manager, ultimately becoming assistant treasurer. In September 2010, Wade was named manager of AgVantage FS retail division. He is a graduate of the GROWMARK LEAD program, and the Senior Management Development Program.
In his new role, Mittlestadt will focus on managing the overall risk of GROWMARK, and will be responsible for Treasury activities, business analysis, budgeting and planning, as well as insurance and safety/environmental matters. He will chair the Corporate Risk Management Committee and manage FS Financial Services Corporation, FS Risk Management Services, FS Preferred Insurance Company, and assist with NewTech Engineering and Environmental, LLC.
