Land View Launches Native Earth, LLC
December 20, 2016 Land View Inc., a leader in sustainable solutions based in Rupert, ID, has announced a new entity named “Native Earth, LLC”. With a focus on naturally derived innovation, Native Earth will begin providing agricultural products through distributor suppliers across the U.S. beginning January 1, 2017.
Native Earth’s mission is to “provide responsible consumers and growers with efficient, safe, balanced, and sustainable growing systems that unlock the power of nature’s agronomic efficiencies.”
The inception of Native Earth was focused on the need to move the crop input industry away from inefficient fertilizer use and archaic farming practices. Native Earth’s General Manager Kory Wheeler explains, “Most fertilizers were originally developed for logistical reasons and ease of application, not plant use efficiency. We live in an age where plant growth technology and efficiency should drive all fertilizer production in efforts to sustain limited resources, eliminate waste, decrease the environmental impact that farming has on this earth, as well as a focus on quality for both the farmer and consumer.”
A significant portion of Native Earth’s resources will be allocated to innovation efforts. Research will be concentrated on extracting value out of natural processes that occur in nature. Wheeler states, “Where the earth has maintained its ecological balance for millions of years, what better place to focus for inspiration to drive innovation.”
