Harxon High Performance GNSS Solution for precision agriculture
Agricultural autonomous machinery represents a high-level application of smart agriculture, which is based on a precise and resource-efficient approach that attempts to sustainably achieve a higher efficiency in the agricultural production with an increased quality and continue to expand in various new agricultural scenarios.
Harxon positioning solution consists of smart antennas and wireless data radios, which are responsible for the data collection, control, guidance and steering systems of agricultural machinery. Agriculture OEMs, integrators that develop precision ag solutions, and autonomous solution providers can integrate Harxon’s positioning solution into the precision agriculture system in many applications, including semi-autonomous or autonomous applications.
Application Scenarios with No Access to Differential Links
In tough environments where it’s hard to get access to differential links or set up base stations, using single point positioning by combined pseudorange solutions from satellite navigation systems might be the only way to realize GNSS positioning. Harxon innovative STANDALONE Function can maintain 5~20cm positioning accuracy for up to half an hour in horizontal orientation, and maintain 30cm positioning accuracy within for up to an hour without the support of any external precision data. For these situations, smart antenna TS112 SE and TS122 EUAA/EUUB are recommended as a cost-effective option. Up to 15cm Pass to Pass Accuracy (RMS) can be achieved.
Application Scenarios with Access to Differential Links
In some environments where it’s possible to get access to one kind or more kinds of differential links, higher positioning accuracy can be achieved via Satellite-Based Differential Solution or Ground-Based Differential solution. Ground-Based Differential solution means that you can either use your own base or a remote one using a technology called NTRIP. NTRIP allows your rover to accept corrections over the 4G networks with no need for the second local receiver acting as a base. If you choose to set up your own base, a UHF radio is needed for fast correction data transmission for the base to your rover. For these situations, mid-priced TS112 is recommended smart antenna. Satellite-Based Differential Solution means that you can either use SBAS service in SBAS regions (SBAS are geosynchronous satellite systems) or TerraStar correction service outside SBAS regions (TerraStar correction services deliver precise GNSS corrections to users worldwide via L-Band beams). For these situations, professional smart antenna TS112 PRO is recommended for extreme positioning solution.
