Elevating Your Voice: Connecting Agriculture Leaders to Shape the Industry’s Future

2025 has been a pivotal and exciting time for the pesticide industry and the agricultural community at large. Amid the transitions and momentum brought by a new administration, new Congress, and the Make America Healthy Again movement, there has been an increased focus on America’s food as it relates to human health.

CropLife America (CLA) is seizing this moment to lead boldly, championing the contributions of our members and amplifying the voice of modern agricultural chemistry.

Our industry is a critical part of today’s agricultural systems, helping American farmers protect their crops from weeds, pests, and disease to deliver safe, nutritious, and affordable food to families around the world. As the spotlight on our work intensifies, so does our responsibility to advocate for the pesticide industry, champion American agriculture, and help to secure an economically sustainable future for farmers.”

CLA, this year, prioritized elevating its voice to congressional and administration officials to share information that constraining American farmers’ access to tools like pesticides would impact food production, even shifting it abroad; substantially increase fruit and vegetable prices; and put healthy domestic food options out of reach for millions of American families.

The importance of a coordinated agricultural voice is why CLA and the Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) will co-host our annual meetings — bringing two key groups together to build a stronger network for the future.

We invite our members, stakeholders, and leaders in agriculture to join us in late September to collaborate, innovate, and share knowledge with leaders in our sector. Together, we will recognize exceptional contributors to our work, reflect on new challenges, and ready ourselves to remain vocal and engaged on many issues, including protecting to food security in America.

The joint meeting will be held September 28-30 in Lake Geneva, WI, offering a wide range of shared sessions. Also, there are a few exclusive sessions tailored to the unique needs of CLA and CPDA members.

We are thrilled to bring our members, leaders, and agricultural community in one space to celebrate and elevate our voices together!

Fighting for our Food: The Pesticide Policy Coalition

Pesticides are under attack.

Whether it’s consumer groups, regulatory agencies, or government policy makers, pesticide manufacturers, distributors and end-users face restrictions, increased costs, and limitations that have enormous impact on food and lifestyle.

The Pesticide Policy Coalition (PPC), comprising an eclectic group of more than 50 companies, government agencies and businesses “supports the development and implementation of public policies and laws that utilize the best available science and technology to ensure the protection of human health and the environment,” according to the group’s website. “As a unifying voice for consensus-based action and a hub of information exchange, the PPC remains committed to serving and advocating for safe, affordable pest management tools.”

According to the organization: “The PPC serves as a forum for the review, discussion, development, and advocacy of pest management policies and issues important to its members.”
