Sackett-Waconia Restructures its Sales Force

Sackett-Waconia has added three new positions to their sales team: John Lamneck as Regional Account Manager – Eastern U.S.; Craig Robinett as Regional Account Manager – Pacific North West; and Hoss Johnson as Regional Account Manager – Midwest. In the swiftly changing fertilizer industry, Sackett-Waconia remains determined to serve their customers in the most comprehensive and streamlined way, by working directly with customers to meet their needs.

John Lamneck has plenty of blending and handling systems experience. He arrives at Sackett-Waconia from KleerBlue, a manufacturer of diesel exhaust fluid blending systems, as a technical sales manager and project manager. Lamneck also worked for Wilbur-Ellis Co. where he was a Process Systems Engineer. There he designed and selected fertilizer blending and handling systems for over 170 Wilbur-Ellis locations across the country in both liquid and dry applications

Craig Robinett brings a background in farming and ranching to the Sackett-Waconia team. He has an extensive background in natural gas utilities, most recently at Loy Clark Pipeline, a natural gas energy and construction company, where he was the Division Manager for the states of Washington and Idaho.

Hoss Johnson carries a surplus of industry experience with him, including time with Unocal 76, and then Agrium where he worked as a plant manager in West Sacramento. Johnson also worked in nitrogen marketing and managed national accounts. His most recent experience is with the CPS’ (Crop Production Services) Retail Division as a Procurement Manager of Potash and Sulfate.

The further restructured sales force will keep Sackett-Waconia on the leading edge of the dry bulk fertilizer handling industry, providing the highest quality equipment. President of Sackett-Waconia, Gene Gauss said, “We are very excited to be adding these three talented individuals to our expanding sales team. Sackett-Waconia is committed to bringing the best talent, the latest technology, and premier customer service along with the most reliable fertilizer handling equipment in the industry.”

Sackett-Waconia employs 200 people between their four U.S. locations in Baltimore, MD, Waconia, MN, Norwood Young America, MN, and Wilson, NC, plus a fifth location in Araxá, Brazil. The company has sold equipment to thousands of fertilizer plants and enjoys a world-wide reputation for quality equipment and customer service. Sackett-Waconia promotes environmentally friendly Precision Fertilizer Blending technologies which focus on the 4R Nutrient Stewardship concept of getting the right nutrients to the right crops at the right time and rate.
