“Kurt’s almost 30 years of association management experience will be a tremendous asset to TFI as
we move forward and continue to serve as an advocate for the fertilizer industry,” said TFI President
Chris Jahn. “With his understanding of and commitment to member service, Kurt will make a great
addition to our team.”

Prior to joining NACD in 2007, McMillan served in several capacities at the Contract Services
Association (CSA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in political sciences and communications from
Virginia Tech and an MBA from George Mason University.

The newly created position of vice president of member services and chief administrative officer
consolidates the responsibilities of TFI Director of Administration and Finance Carol Dorrough, who
will be retiring in the spring, with the member services responsibilities held by TFI Vice President of
Member Services Pam Guffain, who retired earlier this month. Guffain’s policy advocacy
responsibilities will be assumed by a new staff member in the government relations department
whom TFI will hire in the near future.
