The FORTIX Fungicide Sweepstakes and Challenge took place throughout 2015. Farmers could register for the sweepstakes online or at a tradeshow or event where FORTIX had a presence. Additionally, farmers could receive an entry into the sweepstakes by signing up to take the FORTIX Challenge. The Challenge included applying FORTIX to corn, soybeans, or wheat and sharing their yield results compared to untreated or competitor-treated fields. Both the sweepstakes and the challenge showcased the flexibility the product provides farmers by allowing them to spray once – whenever and however they want – for season-long fungicide benefits in corn and soybeans. It is highly systemic, fast-acting and long-lasting and has been proven effective in field trials in spring and winter wheat.

Forgey grows corn, soybeans, wheat and hay as well as raises feedlot cattle and bred cows. He was excited to hear the news about his sweepstakes win as he had been seriously considering purchasing a side-by-side vehicle last fall. Thanks to FORTIX Fungicide, he’s now putting the Grizzly 4×4 to good use on the farm.

“So far, I’ve been using it to chase down a lot of baby calves this spring,” joked Forgey. “But I also plan to use it to scout my beans and corn after planting and pick up and haul rocks.”

Arysta LifeScience presented Forgey with his new vehicle along with Forgey’s retailer, Dana Hile, of Providence Ag.
