H.J. Baker Hires Manager For Crop Performance Division

H.J. Baker has announced Donald Sutton has joined the company’s Crop Performance Division as a part of the U.S. sales team.  This ongoing growth by H.J. Baker continues to showcase their commitment as a global leader in the agriculture industry.

Sutton joins H.J. Baker from AMCOL International/Mineral Technologies, where he successfully launched and established the company’s agriculture division focusing on humic acid and bentonite clay products. During his three years with AMCOL, Sutton increased sales revenue by a significant percentage annually while managing global accounts and working closely with research scientists to support successful marketing and sales initiatives. He also spent several years working with Amega Sciences as a national sales manager, implementing and managing the company’s business marketing and sales initiatives. Sutton also spent more than a decade working for several golf clubs where he developed and managed agronomic plans for premier conditions for golf courses.

“Donald is a great asset to our team with his proven track record of developing and executing sound marketing programs and consistently exceed sales goals,” said Crop Performance President Don Cherry. “His diverse background and strong knowledge of agronomics is a perfect complement to our team,” Cherry added.

As account manager for H.J. Baker’s Crop Performance Division, Sutton is responsible for managing and growing sales for H.J. Baker’s Tiger-Sul product line in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
