The 4940 features a 50-inch crop clearance, 1,200-gallon solution tank and the ability to quickly be converted to a dry machine by installing a 200- or 300-cubic foot New Leader drybox spreader. The 4940 provides for faster dry application speeds and empty transport speeds up to 35 mph, says the company. To make application more precise, the 120-foot booms come in 11 independent sections. The 4940 Sprayer is powered by a 340-hp, 9-liter Interim Tier 4 PowerTech Plus Turbocharged engine.

The Patriot 4430 sprayer features a 1,200-gallon tank and a 8.7-liter Case IH FPT engine which can achieve up to 365 hp. The unit also is designed with Selective Catalytic Reduction technology and meets Tier IV emission standards. The Patriot 4430 comes equipped with the AutoFold Plus boom fold/unfold feature, which raises the boom out of the cradle and initiates the unfolding process using a single switch.

It boasts 32 inches of crop clearance, 11-ton dry and 1,800-gallon liquid capacities, an AirRide cab with a larger windshield and a new Variable Coil Spring Suspension. The unit also works in conjunction with AgJunction system to provide logistics and diagnostics support.
