About the Space
This facility was designed to be an efficient two-bay, hot load retail space with a third bay to easily 24/7 unattended transfer product.
It was the fifth location that Junge automated for Cargill (now CPS). Elements from each of the previous four locations were incorporated into the design.
This Junge Zone Automation facility handles a combined total of 2 million+ gallons of fertilizer and 120,000+ gallons of crop protection materials as well as 100+ hand add package goods. Thousands of unique blends or prescriptions are made from these raw materials. Junge software provides more efficient mixing technology to create these products for every grower’s unique needs.

Junge software and Junge Zone Automation provide confidence. Facility staff have now have an added assurance that every blend is precisely reported and invoiced, and growers and retailers now have the guarantee that prescriptions are accurate.
Matt Hopkins is Senior Multi-Media Specialist for the Agribusiness Group at Meister Media Worldwide (MMW), including such brands as CropLife, CropLife IRON, AgriBusiness Global, Global Agtech Initiative, and Cotton Grower. He is responsible for managing an array of digital products, including newsletters, websites, video, and social media. Hopkins originally joined MMW in 1994 as an editor for Greenhouse Grower magazine before transitioning to Business Manager of its MeisterPro division. He has a Communications Degree from Cleveland State University.
