NovaSource, the crop protection business unit of Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. (TKI), has created a new sales territory serving Idaho and four neighboring states, and has added a new regional account manager to serve this new sales territory and another to serve its Southeast Region.
Tad Comer now serves in the role of Regional Account Manager for the newly defined NovaSource sales territory comprised of Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Colorado.
Jeff Glass is overseeing accounts as Regional Account Manager in the NovaSource Southeast Region that includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama and other southeastern states.
Comer had most recently served as an area sales manager for Van Diest Supply Co. where he managed a large and diverse distribution business across Colorado and Nebraska. He is a veteran and former member of the U.S. Army 313th Military Intelligence Battalion, supporting the 82d Airborne Division. He will operate from an office based in Twin Falls, ID.
“Recent acquisitions to the NovaSource product line and the importance of our products in the production of potatoes, alfalfa and sugar beets in this important five-state region make it necessary to add a professional with Tad’s experience to our team,” said Bob Gestring, Director of Sales, NovaSource North America.
Glass brings more than 28 years of experience in agriculture and crop protection to his new role at NovaSource. He most recently served as the Georgia Regional Manager for Meherrin Agricultural & Chemical Co. Glass earned a Bachelor’s degree in agronomy from the University of Georgia and will operate from an office based in Tallahassee, FL.
“Jeff brings a wealth of experience to the NovaSource team that will benefit all of our customers in the Southeast U.S.,” Gestring added.
Founded in 2005, NovaSource develops and markets a variety of crop protection products for niche uses in agriculture worldwide.
