8 Certified Biostimulant Products That Every Ag Retailer Should Know
As biostimulants continue to gain traction across the agricultural industry, ensuring credibility and consistency has become essential. That’s where The Fertilizer Institute’s (TFI) Certified Biostimulant program comes in. Launched in June 2023, the program provides third-party verification of biostimulant products to uphold industry standards in efficacy, safety, composition, and truthful marketing claims.
“Biostimulant products have been shown to promote nutrient uptake, stress tolerance, and overall plant health and vigor,” said Corey Rosenbusch, President and CEO of TFI. “The Certified Biostimulant Program was established to provide a standard for these products and ensure growers and retailers will be able to confidently select the right solutions to fit their programs.”
Certification also underscores the connection between sustainable agriculture and nutrient management, helping growers minimize nutrient loss and maximize performance.
“Biostimulants support environmental stewardship by improving the efficiencies of fertilizer application and soil health while also increasing crop yields,” Rosenbusch added. “We are proud to bring consumer confidence to the marketplace.”
In March 2024, AgroLiquid’s PrimAgro C-Tech became the first product to receive certification. Since then, seven additional biostimulants from leading ag companies have been approved. Below is a summary of all eight TFI-certified products that ag retailers should know about today.

Why Certification Matters More Than Ever
With an expanding catalog of biostimulants on the market, TFI’s Certified Biostimulant label is quickly becoming a trusted benchmark for quality and efficacy in ag retail. Each of the eight certified products not only meets the program’s rigorous criteria, but also offers targeted agronomic benefits that can help drive sustainable outcomes.
As Rosenbusch emphasized: “We look forward to certifying more biostimulant products in the future that help to ensure our dinner tables are full and the environment is being protected.”
