WHAT THEY NEEDED / WHAT WE DESIGNED

Monte Vista Coop needed to upgrade their dry fertilizer facilities in all phases — receiving, storage, blending, and load out. As one of the only fertilizer rail receiving facilities in the San Luis Valley, they required an efficient and reliable receiving system. The Ranco receiving system accommodates both rail and truck receiving. With a compressed application season, the need to blend a large amount of fertilizer in a short timeframe was paramount. With the Ranco DW blender and two overhead load out tanks with two lanes, Monte Vista Coop is able to load a truck while the other lane is blending, dramatically increasing the amount of trucks they can accommodate through the facility each day.
