WHAT THEY NEEDED

Improvements to its liquid fertilizer and crop protection facility that would allow all chemicals, whether in bulk or other packages, to be in one place. FarmChem gave Nutrien a state-of-the-art liquid fertilizer and crop protection facility designed to service a 30- to 40-mile radius around Mingo with the goal of expanding that radius within the next 10 years. This facility also needed to become a hub to serve smaller nearby older facilities lacking in staff and production resources.

WHAT WE DESIGNED

Using full-scale 3D-rendering, FarmChem designed the KSi automated bulk liquid fertilizer and crop protection product facility. The company provided the roadmap, competitive pricing, installation crews, and industry leading bulk liquid fertilizer and crop protection automated system. Using KSi software products, this facility operates 13 stainless steel tanks, 12 mini bulk tanks, six fertilizer tanks, and a mixing tank. The system is used for hot mixing loads at the facility and trucking the mixed loads to the field sprayer, as well as repackaging bulk products into mini bulk tanks.
