The Challenge: Expanding Capacity to Meet Demand
Logan Agri-Service engaged AGI to expand its liquid fertilizer facilities in Knox City, MO, after realizing that its existing operations couldn’t meet their expanding fertilizer storage and handling requirements. With five retail locations and four warehouses across western Illinois and northeastern Missouri, Logan Agri-Service strives to provide agronomic, economic, and environmental solutions to increase customer yields and profits. The objective of this project was to ensure they could meet the region’s agricultural demands by transforming the facilities into a fully operational liquid fertilizer and chemical terminal by spring 2023.

The Solution: A Fully Integrated Liquid Fertilizer Terminal
After extensive communication and project management, the Logan Agri-Service installation began in January 2023 and was completed in April of that year. AGI collaborated closely with Logan Agri-Service and Schwada Builders to design and deliver — on time and on budget — a facility tailored to Logan Ag’s operational goals.

The Knox City, MO, location boasts the following equipment:

• Precision weigh tank
• Re-pack station
