Climate FieldView to FarmLogs Connectivity Now Available

FarmLogs, farm management software for growers from Bushel, an independently owned software company and a leading provider of software technology solutions for growers, grain buyers, ag retailers, protein producers and food companies, now offers a Climate FieldView integration to reduce manual data entry for their farm operations. FieldView is Bayer’s flagship digital farming product.

Growers now have the option to connect their FieldView account to automatically create Activities in FarmLogs. This new capability allows the seamless transfer of field work captured by the Climate FieldView Drive, and other methods supported by FieldView. This connection can reduce the amount of time spent entering data, keep accurate records across systems, automatically calculate cost of production, and more easily determine a farm’s Profit & Loss down to the acre.

“We pursue platform agreements that provide value to our farmer customers and make it easier for them to connect to the tools they choose to use,” Brandon Rinkenberger, Chief Customer Officer for Climate LLC and Digital Farming at Bayer, said. “We also listen to customer feedback, and this platform connection provides a new solution for FieldView users who want easier access to profit and loss insights across their fields.”

For FarmLogs business plan subscribers, machine data integrations are available at no additional cost. Click here for more details on how to set up the connection. This integration allows data to be transferred from FieldView to FarmLogs. Once connected, FarmLogs subscribers who have input purchases logged will see Profit & Loss populate automatically based on the field work completed and inputs used in their FieldView account. The Profit & Loss feature provides detailed visibility into farm financials on an acre, field, crop, and farm level.

“We’re excited to give our growers the streamlined data flow from FieldView,” Jesse Vollmar, Vice President of Farm Strategy at Bushel, said. “This integration allows growers to automatically get financial insights from the field work they do and eliminates a lot of the manual data entry previously required. Through these types of integrations, we are helping drive decision making for next year’s planning and beyond.”

Current farm and grain data-sharing processes are manual and fragmented, resulting in lost productivity and revenue potential. Bushel and FarmLogs’ technologies aim to solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges and bring the grain supply chain together through connected, standardized and properly-permissioned data. Bushel’s product suite includes its flagship mobile app, websites, trading tools, market feeds, API services and a custom software division focused on agriculture. Bushel has been focused on building software since the company was founded in 2011. Bushel acquired FarmLogs in June 2021.
