LARGE CAPACITY PNEUMATIC TIRE, Toyota Material Handling
Well-suited for agricultural applications, Toyota’s new large IC (internal combustion) pneumatic lift trucks offer 22,000- to 35,000-pound capacities and are equipped with a powerful 6.7-liter J-Series Hino diesel engine. Ergonomic features include hydraulic seat-side pilot-type short-throw levers, left-hand shift lever, and tilt steering column. The diesel engine meets EPA’s Tier 3 compliance regulations.
E45-70XN, Hyster Co.
The Hyster E45-70XN electric lift truck features a remodeled operator compartment with increased foot and leg room, relocated dash display, and a removable floor plate for quick maintenance solutions. A redesigned hood provides maximum battery service access to reduce downtime. A new traction motor, designed with steel skin and cast end bells to allow for maximum air flow, features improved speed sensors to provide accurate speed monitoring over the entire motor operating temperature range.
STM SERIES, Sellick Equipment Ltd.
The newly designed STM (Sellick Truck Mount) forklift series is available in different profiles with capacities ranging from 5,500 to 7,000 pounds. The rigs are powered by the smooth and quiet Kubota Tier III, 50 HP, four cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine. The lifts provide full-time three-wheel drive, and the traction-control feature now has automatic disengagement, allowing the operator to keep both hands at the controls.
G SERIES, Case Construction Equipment
The new 586G Series 3 and the 588G Series 3 rough-terrain forklifts come with the Tier III-certified Case Family engines – specifically, a 4.5-liter turbocharged Case engine that delivers 80 net horsepower (60 kW), a 10% increase from previous models. The 586G Series 3 has a lift capacity of 6,000 pounds; the 588G Series 3 carries up to 8,000 pounds. The rigs offer easy-to-operate controls, load control for smooth operation, and minimal chain stress for reduced maintenance cost.
P5000, CAT Lift Trucks
Designed for the most demanding applications, the P5000 (5,000-pound capacity) is equipped with the trademarked purePOWER engine for high performance and excellent fuel economy. The truck’s Presence Detection System (PDS) disengages all transmission and hydraulic functions when the lift truck operator is not seated. For better engine care in high dirt/dust environments, an optional package includes a high pass-through square fin radiator, a radiator screen, and an underbelly screen.
PLATINUM G04 SERIES, Nissan Forklift Corp.
Offered in 8,000- to 11,000-pound capacities, the new Platinum GO4 forklifts are available with Nissan’s own TB45 LP/Dual Fuel and TD42 Diesel engines. Both of these 6-cylinder, in-line industrial engines deliver the high torque needed in harsh conditions. Standard features include an engine and transmission protection and warning system, PIN access, an adjustable maximum travel speed setting, a seat-actuated Operator Presence System, and a multi-function LCD display including on-board diagnostics.
