Goodyear Ultra Sprayer tires are available in 320 to 380 cross sections to accommodate row widths from 20 to 36 inches and above. Their tread bars are designed to carry heavy sprayer loads and will handle travel speeds up to 30 mph. Goodyear Ultra Sprayer tires also have increased lug bracing for high load durability and a significant increase in lug surface for improved lug durability and wear, according to the company.
Firestone Farm Tires
Radial All Traction Row Crop (RAT RC) tires feature a tread pattern designed specially for self-propelled sprayers to help optimize ride and wear. The tires are offered with the company’s Advanced Deflection 2 technology, which improves durability while maximizing load carrying capacity at the lowest possible inflation presure, says the company. RAT RC tires also have improved total footprint area — 220 to 250 square inches or 14%.
Michelin Agricultural Tires
SprayBib radials feature the company’s Ultraflex Technologies, which boosts the tires’ flexing capacity to improve fuel efficiency, traction and reduce soil compaction, according to the company. These tires now also feature stubble-guard lug design, which offers reduced soil compaction with a large footprint. In addition, D-speed rated SprayBib radials are the only high-clearance sprayer tires that can carry 14,330 pounds at speeds up to 40 mph. They also deliver an expected wear life of three to five years instead of the industry standard of one to two years.
