AGCO Launches Global iPad App

AGCO has launched a new iPad app that showcases the company’s lineup of application equipment, offering an interactive, three-dimensional “walk-around” of the machines, downloadable product information, video content and much more.

The free AGCO Global iPad App, which can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store, features the full family of RoGator self-propelled sprayers and TerraGator high-floatation spreaders operated by professional applicators and farmers.

  • Rotating, 3-D product images with “hot spots” users can click to view highlights of the corresponding machine features and benefits.
  • Machine videos, product brochures and other brand information that can be downloaded to other devices for offline viewing, such as in the field.
  • Customer videos of key product benefits they experience in their operations.
  • A dealer locator for easy access to AGCO Application Equipment dealerships in North America.

The new app also provides a link to access the company’s application equipment website, as well as AGCO news, social media pages and a detailed company history. Upon registration and log-in, AGCO dealers can also access additional product sales and service information, including tools that compare AGCO application equipment to competitor machines in terms of productivity and other performance data.

“This new app is designed to be a primary resource for ag retailers, custom applicators and farmers,” said Mark Sharitz, AGCO Application Equipment director of marketing. “It puts all the information at their fingertips to select the right machines and equipment features for their fields to maximize crop production.”

Additional products to be hosted on the new AGCO Global iPad App in the near future include seeding and tillage equipment, tractors and combines sold worldwide under the Sunflower, White Planters, Gleaner and Fendt brands. Two other AGCO brands – Challenger and Massey Ferguson – have plans to develop their own iPad apps.
