EVOIA Receives Key Certifications for New Product, AmpliFYR
December 16, 2022 EVOIA, Inc. has announced its introductory product has attained key sustainability certifications. AmpliFYR, an innovative seed treatment made from biochar extract, has recently been recognized as compliant with the USDA National Organic Program standards by the California Department of Agriculture (CDFA) and the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). Additionally, AmpliFYR has been certified 100% biobased through the USDA BioPreferred program.
With both CDFA Organic Input Material (OIM) certification and OMRI listing, AmpliFYR is now approved for use in organic crop and food production. Additionally, the CDFA-OIM registration also verified that AmpliFYR complies with the stringent Fertilizing Materials Law and Regulations of California. The USDA BioPreferred 100% Biobased certification is only given to products composed wholly of biological ingredients derived from renewable resources, such as plants and forestry materials.
AmpliFYR is the first commercially available biochar extract seed treatment designed to capitalize on the ecological and evolutionary relationship between fire and plants. AmpliFYR seed treatment is intended for use on row crops, including corn, soybeans, and wheat. It amplifies yield potential through a more consistent crop, by increasing seedling growth and improving crop establishment.
