Monsanto Gains Spot On S&P 100

Monsanto Co. will be recognized as an S&P 100 company.

The S&P 100 or Standard & Poor’s 100 is a U.S. stock market index listing the top 100 U.S. stocks with exchange-listed options. Monsanto, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, moves onto the list because Tyco, a safety equipment company, will become ineligible once it completes moving its operations to Switzerland.
