United Phosphorus, Inc. (UPI) has requested voluntary cancellation of all maneb fungicide registrations.
UPI, a major supplier of post-patent crop protection technologies, submitted the request this month. Due to a variety of regulatory reasons, UPS will not be supporting the re-registration of maneb, but will produce the product until the end of this year.
