Commodity Classic has announced Maureen Feck has accepted the role of Show Director and will begin her new job on July 1, 2022. Feck comes to Commodity Classic from the True Value Company, where she served as Senior Director of Meetings and Events.
Feck takes the Commodity Classic reins from Peggy Findley, show director for the past 26 years, who announced her retirement earlier this year.
Bill Schuermann, ASA executive director for industry and state relations, recognizes the significant contributions Findley has made to Commodity Classic over the years. “The Classic experience wouldn’t be what it is today without Peggy,” he says. “Peggy has been there from the beginning. Her energy and her ability to work with different farmers’ committees, the associations, and all the exhibitors are remarkable.”
Feck will be central in guiding the direction for Commodity Classic 2023, which will be held March 9-11 in Orlando. Neil Caskey, vice president of communications for NCGA, added, “We’re looking forward to working with Maureen in continuing Commodity Classic’s tradition of serving America’s most progressive farmers and taking the show to new heights.”
