Junge Control Sells Stock to Ag Growth International

Junge Control, Inc. (JCI), a leader in agricultural and fuel blending automation for nearly 40 years, has announced that it has sold its stock along with the headquarters’ property to Ag Growth International (AGI), a publicly traded company located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Junge Control has been owned by Dave and Mary Junge for 39 years. Junge Control provides innovative software and manufactures measurement and blending systems for the agriculture and fuel industries. Mainly focused in the central U.S., over recent years their large customers have been having installations from coast to coast.

“Any entrepreneur wants their business to grow and be successful and usually paces themselves with steady controlled growth. Mary and I have definitely experienced this over the last four decades. Over the last few years it became apparent we needed to expand our team quickly since we are now covering the entire country and will eventually expand internationally. This strategic move definitely poises JCI and AGI to continue their excellent product offering and stellar support JCI has been known for,” says Dave Junge.

Mary added, “We have most of the key positions in our business filled with talented and dedicated people whom we thank for helping get us to this point. With great pride and confidence, we both know that AGI can grow our business and improve our processes so our customers will even realize more product satisfaction.”

All of the approximately 20 employees including the regional sales team will retain their existing positions. Both Dave and Mary will continue as part of the team for the next year. Dave and Mary will continue to attend national trade shows and meetings representing JCI and AGI. In addition to the stock purchase, AGI purchased the facility and new Innovation Center that was completed in 2016 and will continue operating in Cedar Rapids.
