Seventeen percent reported sales roles within their organization. The majority of respondents represented cooperatives (53%) while independent (31%) and national (14%) retailers were also represented.
The surveys were sent to retailers across the county with most respondents from the Midwest; 41% of survey-takers indicated they were from Illinois, Indiana, or Iowa.
