MANA Makes Moves
April 2, 2008 Makhteshim Agan of North America (MANA) announces two management moves.
Brian Ahrens accepted a promotion within MANA making him the crop protection company’s new northern regional sales manager, effective immediately. He will manage commercial sales efforts and six of the company’s area business managers who cover a territory stretching from Montana to Maine.
Ahrens, who previous held leadership positions at Bayer CropScience and BASF Agricultural Products, will relocate from the company’s national headquarters in Raleigh, NC, to eastern Iowa.
John Guion, will take over as MANA’s senior product marketing manager for insecticides, the position Ahrens has held since 2005. Guion brings more than 26 years of ag industry experience to MANA, including with Agriliance, LLC and Terra Industries, Inc.
