OABA to Host 2026 4R Technology Review Field Day

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association will host the 2026 OABA 4R Technology Review Field Day on Tuesday, June 23, at Nutrien Ag Solutions Five Points location in Mt. Serling, OH. This annual event brings together experts in agriculture technology and conservation to share knowledge and best practices for implementing 4R nutrient management.

This year’s event will feature a guided bus tour with multiple stops across central Ohio, offering attendees a hands-on look at innovative practices and emerging technologies being used in production agriculture. Planned tour stops include Richards Farm in Circleville, where participants will learn about the use of liquid manure through overhead irrigation; Mt. Sterling Dairy, featuring a demonstration of the 360 RAIN nutrient application unit; and Nutrien Ag Solutions in Five Points, where attendees will tour the company’s new facility.

The day will also include a lunch presentation from Brian Arnall focused on sensor-based nitrogen management and the role of technology in improving nutrient efficiency.

The 4R Technology Review Field Day provides farmers, crop advisors, ag retailers and industry professionals an opportunity to learn from experts, see conservation practices in action and network with others focused on maximizing crop yield while improving the quality of Ohio’s waterways.

Attendance is free, but registration is required. Due to limited bus capacity, early registration is encouraged, and the agenda is subject to change as details are finalized.
