This innovative technology can scout an entire 120-acre field and process the imagery within 30 minutes, or roughly in the time it takes to brew and drink your cup of morning coffee. The imagery is readily accessible for trusted advisers to review and share with growers without physically walking the fields and without internet connectivity.
Image resolution down to a few inches per pixel, compared to many satellite imagery options that provide between 100-400 inches per pixel, allows agronomists to easily drill into specifics, plant by plant, and detect issues – whether that’s a pest wreaking havoc, weeds invading, or disease sweeping across a field. Drones can help maximize time and efficiency, point growers and their advisers directly to trouble spots, and enable advisers to provide more confident recommendations and foster healthier land stewardship.
