Summa Retires From CF Industries

Monty R. Summa, vice president of sales, will retire from CF Industries Holdings, Inc. at the end of the year. Summa, 55, has led the company’s sales organization since he joined the company in August 2003.

"In his five years at this company, Monty Summa has redirected the sales organization from its focus of serving the needs of our previous owner cooperatives to its present position as a strong, reliable supplier to the broader North American agriculture market," says Stephen R. Wilson, chairman and CEO, CF Industries Holdings, Inc. "Monty will leave our sales organization well-positioned to remain a leading player in the fertilizer industry.”

At CF Industries, Summa led development of the company’s innovative sales programs and tools, notably its Forward Pricing Program and PROMISES, a state-of-the-art e-business customer service tool.

Summa had previously worked with such companies as American Cyanamid and Terra Industries.

I thought of something. I did not give Monty the respect he most should have. He use to be "my boss's, boss and then he was my boss's, boss's, boss's. Only at "Uncle Cy".
