Redball Adds Manager, Product Team

Redball, LLC, has hired a new sales/marketing director and named three to a newly created product management team.

A leading manufacturer of agricultural sprayers, tillage, and application equipment, Redball has named Mike Snyder as sales and marketing director. Snyder has extensive sales, marketing and management experience with major agricultural chemical and supply companies. Most recently, he directed sales and marketing efforts for granular insecticides and SmartBox application systems for AMVAC Chemical Corp. During his more than 20 years in the agricultural industry, he also has served as a regional sales representative, a product-line sales manager, market research project manager, insecticide marketing manager, and procurement and distribution manager for various companies, including Monsanto Co., FMC, and UAP.

The three executives named as product managers include Grant Lien, who will oversee marketing of Redball’s new Model 7830 self-propelled sprayer, which was introduced in early 2007. Jack Gerhardt will head Redball’s GreenSeeker unit, which markets the optical sensing and variable-rate application technology in the U.S. and Canada. Tony Fath was named product manager for high-clearance trailer sprayers, row-crop application and strip-till systems. Fath also leads the company’s customer service and parts units.
