Operator Of The Year Finalists Named
November 30, 2009 AGCO Application Equipment has named the four finalists for the 2009 Operator of the Year Award.
Now in its third year, the Ag-Chem Operator of the Year program was developed to provide appreciation to the best custom applicators in the industry. This year’s winner will be announced during the Agricultural Retailers Association Conference & Exposition in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Dec. 2, 2009. Applicators are evaluated on their commitment, their ability to provide exceptional service, and how they stand out as true professionals and members of their community.
All four of the finalists have demonstrated the experience and dedication to help their custom application businesses succeed. Now, one of them will walk away with the program’s grand prize – the keys to a brand new Harley Davidson. The operators are nominated by their managers, and were chosen from a nationwide field of applicants. They include:
- Paul Arends – Cenex Harvest States, Marshall, MN. Paul has nine years of experience and applies over 20,000 acres per year.
- Tod Borge – South Dakota Wheat Growers, Bath, SD. Tod has 19 years of experience and applies over 50,000 acres per year.
- Rob Lindberg – Central Valley Ag, Oakland, NE. Rob has 14 years of experience and applies 55,000 acres per year.
- Dave Meyer – Twin State Inc. / Liqui-Grow, Hampton, IA. Dave has 23 years of experience and applies over 40,000 acres per year.
