New Cadet On Weed Patrol
April 16, 2008 Corn and soybean growers have a new option for selective postemergence control of tough broadleaf weeds in corn and soybeans.
Cadet herbicide from FMC Corp. delivers superior control of velvetleaf (up to 36 inches in height), pigweed, lambsquarters, waterhemp, nightshade, and other broadleaf weeds. A reliable, effective tank-mix partner with a variety of other herbicides (including glyphosate), Cadet contains the active ingredient fluthiacet-methyl and provides a more cost-effective, broad-spectrum control for increased yields and higher profits.
Cadet provides target weed control at lower rates than competitive herbicides. At a standard rate of just 0.4 ounces per acres to 0.5 ounces per acre growers can count on Cadet delivering superior postemergence activity on a variety of key weeds, including resistant biotypes, according to FMC.
