Mosaic Retools Web Site

As farmers tune up their tractors for spring planting, The Mosaic Co. has overhauled an important tool to help dealers and growers properly prepare their soil. The company’s K-Mag Web site, www.kmag.com, provides soil fertility information for 16 of the most popular high-value U.S. crops, from alfalfa to wheat, meeting a growing demand for more customized information.

"The site goes well beyond promoting our K-Mag fertilizer grades," notes Randy Groff, marketing manager for Mosaic. "For instance, visitors can learn how to identify the tell-tale signs of yield-robbing nutrient deficiencies for specific crops, or they can access a host of environmental articles on implementing sound agricultural practices."

Mosaic staff spent considerable time in the field interviewing growers and retailers across the country about fertility practices, "an exercise that really shaped the information we feature on the retooled site," Groff adds. "We’re committed to our role as the industry’s premier resource on proper soil fertility."
