Kits Prevent Pump Keyway Fretting
March 16, 2009 A new Hypro Gear Reduction Kit is designed to improve a variety of pump models and gas engines.
The kit includes a new and improved bolt through pinion gear to prevent keyway fretting. It also features a new engine mounting flange designed for ease of assembly with standard tools, a robust 6:1 gear ration for increased longevity, and increased oil capacity to decrease servicing time.
The 8000-0056 Gear Reduction Kit is made for use on Hypro pump models 9910-D30, 9910-D303, 9910-D403, and gas engines with a three-quarter inch shaft. This new gear reduction kit is available pre-assembled for a variety of PowerPro gas engines and Hypro pumps.
