Fertilizer Dealer Supply Joins GVM

GVM has added Fertilizer Dealer Supply (FDS) to its growing network of Mako dealers.

“I met Mark Anderson some 20 years ago while attending different vendor meetings,” said Brian Parman, Manager at FDS’ Boonville, MO, location. “I was always impressed with his product knowledge, which is often [times] rare for the CEO of a company. After FDS lost our small sprayer line, I visited with Mark at a trade show and we discussed different possibilities and options to replace that line.”

After continued conversations with customers and dealers alike, the GVM Mako — the smallest, most compact self-propelled sprayer in the marketplace — was born.

“When Mark came up with a plan to build the Mako, FDS was ready to partner up and sell the machine in the state of Missouri,” Parman added.

About the partnership, Mark Anderson, GVM President and Owner, stated, “When we select dealers, we look for a common philosophy in doing business. FDS shares our commitment and dedication to meeting the needs of the customers. We are proud to align ourselves with FDS to extend our reach in the Midwest. With their nearly 50 years of experience I am confident, together, we will.”

Given the long lasting relationship between Anderson and Parman, it is only natural that the relationship between the companies is off to a strong start. “Our goal is to be the premier self-propelled sprayer dealer in the state of Missouri in both sales and support. We love the size of the Mako and the horsepower the Cummins [engine] provides. There are many growers and dealers in Missouri that want the light footprint the Mako provides,” said Tom Grady, FDS President.
