Federal Trade Commission Contacts

The Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition enforces the nation’s antitrust laws, which form the foundation of our free market economy. The antitrust laws promote the interests of consumers; they support unfettered markets and result in lower prices and more choices. The Bureau of Competition investigates potential law violations and seeks legal remedies in federal court or before FTC’s administrative law judges. The Bureau also serves as a resource for policy makers on competition issues.

If you have a question or comment about an antitrust issue, please submit it to the Bureau of Competition by one the following methods below. To learn how the agency may use the information you provide, please read their Privacy Policy. When contacting FTC, make sure to provide a daytime telephone number in your communication.

ARA has been informed by FTC officials that if you or your company does plan to contact their agency, it should be done sooner rather than later. FTC is looking to see if benefits from competition overlap between proposed merging companies impact price, service, and quality. Phone conversations with FTC are confidential. Written submissions could be subject to discovery during any potential lawsuit.
