2010 MACA Program Announced

"All Roads Lead to the Future" is the theme of the 2010 MACA Annual Meeting scheduled September 7-9, 2010 at the Marriott Hotel, West Des Moines, IA. Here’s the schedule at-a-glance:

Tuesday, September 7. This year’s program will kick off at 3:00 p.m. with opening ceremonies followed by a panel presentation on "Working with Generation Y." Panel members include Steve Drake, CEO of Drake & Co., Eric Spell, president, AgCareers, and Mike Gaul, director, Career Services, Iowa State University. Following Tuesday’s program will be the grand opening reception.

Wednesday, September 8. The program has been revamped to allow for private business meetings, a personal development seminar or in the afternoon the MACA Annual Golf Tournament or an industry tour which includes stops at the John Deere Des Moines Works and Pioneer.

Private business meetings can be arranged by any MACA member company. To reserve a meeting room, please contact Brent Edwards, event manager, at the Marriott Hotel.

A personal development seminar will feature Tamara Elwell and Robert Hays, financial consultant, Investment Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors presenting "Your Personal Finances." The seminar will be offered at 8:30 a.m.

Golf, for those attendees that complete their meetings, is available this afternoon at "Talons of Tuscany". Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will start at 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday ends with the President’s reception starting at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, September 9. The program begins at 8:00 a.m. with Jim Heseman, senior vice-president, John Deere Credit. He’ll address the topic, "What is the State of the Industry?"

"What’s Up with China?" will be the topic of Mark Lu, Chairman of Rotam, beginning at 9:45 a.m.
